Work of NI Bird Photographers - HOME PAGE
Judge: David Tomlinson David Tomlinson is a lifelong birdwatcher and a professional freelance writer on birds and countryside subjects. In 1984, he set up a birding holiday company, Gourmet Birds, a concept for holidays combining good birds with good food and wine. Thirty years on the company has remained true to its original ideals. Gourmet Birds have recorded around 3000 species of birds and David’s travels have allowed him to watch birds in nearly 80 different countries, from Argentina to Australia, Finland to the Falklands. Though a keen photographer, he is a birdwatcher first and foremost. He lives in Suffolk. David’s digiscoped photograph of a wryneck, won the British Birds digiscoping award in BPY four years ago. David previously judged the Work of N I Bird Photographers in pre-digital days in the mid nineties
